The Communications and Office Assistant will provide direct communications assistance to CHBA BC for the various programs offered by the association, including: environmental programs, advocacy, continuing education and events. He/she will also support the launch of a new Data Management System and contribute to developing a revised website for the association.
The key to this role is the ability to work well with others within a small office environment. All staff members contribute to office administration duties, and the successful candidate will be adaptable and able to take initiative.
This position is possible with funding from the Canada Summer Jobs Program. All candidates must be returning to school full-time in the Fall.
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC (CHBA BC) is the voice of the residential
construction industry in British Columbia, representing 1,600 member firms across the
province. As the demand for our licensing and continuing education programming continues to
grow, we are looking to recruit additional instructors to facilitate our industry-leading courses.
This part-time, contractual opportunity will involve motivating and coaching students who are
looking to become licensed or to satisfy continuing professional development requirements. Courses are offered throughout
the province so you must be interested in and available for occasional travel.
